www.iglesiadeciudadreal.es - Afternoon December 4, 2016 John 11:17-27 - Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960) Jesus, the Resurrection and the Life 17 So Jesus came and found that Lazarus had been in the tomb for four days. 18 Bethany was near Jerusalem, about fifteen miles away. 19 And many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to comfort them concerning their brother. 20 So Martha, when she heard that Jesus was coming, went to meet him; but Mary stayed at home. 21 Then Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But now I know that whatever you ask of God, God will give you." 23 Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again." 24 Martha said to him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day." 25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, even if they die, will live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" 27 She said to him, "Yes, Lord; I have believed that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who has come into the world."
