PCT Section Hike: Harts Pass to the Canadian Border & Back. Washington PCT Section L (July 2025)

In this video, I begin my Pacific Crest Trail section hike at Harts Pass, Washington, and spend 5 days hiking 60 miles to the Northern Terminus (Monument 78 at the Canadian border) and then back to Harts Pass. Join me for one of the most stunning sections on the PCT yet! Stay tuned for Part 2, where I continue my southbound hike from Harts Pass to High Bridge, ending in the town of Stehekin. Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more trail adventures! Dates Hiked: July 13-July 20, 2025 *This was another low snow year in Washington, with a warm spring that led to early snow melt. Resources I recommend to hike this section snow-free are the Harts Pass Snotel. When the snow meter reaches 0” add 3 weeks to the zero date for a snow free hiking start date. The PCT Lions Den Facebook group also has early SOBO trip reports, which are helpful for planning purposes
