Hello 🥰 Strikes happen in France for various reasons, but the one saving grace is that they bring packed lunches for picnics! If you just pack a lunch, we can eat together at school, play, and then go to class. But... sometimes they tell you to take the kids with you for the entire two-hour lunch break... I mean, how on earth do dual-income couples manage to raise their children...? 🤔 There were school lunch strikes last Thursday and Friday as well... Since I was working, I asked a younger friend to take care of them on Thursday, and on Friday, my husband changed his return flight so he could come to France early in the morning to have lunch with me 🥲 Life in France really isn't easy haha.
