With pitch-black humor, prodigiously stylized fun-house visuals, and a crackling ensemble cast, Jardin has crafted a wickedly entertaining fable about how the obsessive curation of online personae—and the unstable correlation between a person’s public image and their inner life—produces a tangled web of interpersonal relationships built on half-truths, omissions, and outright lies, where secrets left to fester can detonate in spectacular, blood-soaked fashion when identity itself is gamified.
