Aki and Suna help Dr. Light get ready for a big date with Mari, who turns out to be none other than Hypno Woman in disguise! Aki goes Mega— ignoring Suna’s pleas to leave their dad alone— and sets out to derail the evening before things get too… spellbinding. After struggling to determine what adults consider “romantic,” Mega Man tracks Light and his duplicitous date to a rooftop restaurant. Disguised as a waiter, Mega Man spies on the couple as they chat about particle physics and do a little ballroom dancing— our hero’s attempts to spoil their fun foiled again and again by actual waiting duties! Finally, “Mari” excuses herself and confronts Mega Man in private— revealing her true identity— by unleashing a warm of hypnotees! As Big M battles the drones, Hypno Woman calls down a giant disco-ball from the sky that threatens to put a spell on the entire restaurant! Mega Man leaps and blasts his way to the hypno-ball, only to have it explode and send him flying back to earth! It’s just fireworks! By the time Mega Man recovers, Hypno Woman is gone, but the restaurant’s patrons are fine— as is Dr. Light. Turns out he knew “Mari” was Hypno Woman all along. She may have fought Mega Man before, but that doesn’t mean she can’t change— or have a little fun every now and then. // After a Mega-battle with a blowhard bot named Air Man, Aki arrives at school to discover that Bert Wily is running for Class President— against Peter Punk! Having absorbed Air Man’s powers and personality, Aki inadvertently goes on an ego trip and announces that he’s running with Bert— not as his vice president, but as co-presidents! What starts as a small-scale competition quickly escalates into an all-out mudslinging campaign for the ages! Bert and Suna try to reign Aki in, but he’s too caught up in his own misguided glory to listen. The race is neck and neck until Aki poses as Mega Man and endorses himself to get a popularity boost. But before the election can proceed, Air Man arrives— determined to finish his earlier fight with Mega Man— and starts blowing students across campus so they can’t vote for Mega Man’s candidate! Mega Man snaps out of his ego-funk and realizes that, by letting competition get in the way of common sense, he’s responsible for this whole mess. With his priorities straight, Mega Man sends Air Man packing; later, as Aki, he steps down from the race. Peter accuses Aki of pandering to voters with an integrity play, but in the end, the only legitimate candidate wins: Bert Wily!
