Waste Connections: Mack MRU Tag Axle McNeilus Rear Loader Garbage Truck

Midlothian is a decently large city in the DFW area where WC has manual trash and recycling. With trash being picked up 2x weekly on Mon/Thur or Tues/Fri, recycling for the whole city is on Wednesdays and is fully tubbed. With the news that they would be going automated by the end of summer, we made sure to head out there to get some video. We were able to meetup with James, a really cool driver who previously worked for WM of Fort Worth, and now drives for WC. Manual collection from WC is something I haven’t filmed too much of so I was definitely glad to be able to get a few videos of these manual days before they inevitably go carted. You can also see a rear load dumpster stop at the beginning which was pretty neat as well. Big thanks to James and his helper for letting us tag along for a bit!
