In the second round of the 2026 Travelers Championship, Scottie Scheffler shoots a 10-under 60 to barely miss out on his second sub-60 round of his career. The PGA TOUR’s final Signature Event of the 2026 season takes center stage this week at the Travelers Championship, where many of the game’s biggest stars make the short trip from Shinnecock Hills to TPC River Highlands. Fresh off his U.S. Open victory, Wyndham Clark arrives in Connecticut looking to continue a remarkable run that has included two victories in his last four starts, while fellow major contenders seek to carry their momentum into one of the TOUR’s most popular events. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler headlines a stacked field after finishing T4 at the U.S. Open and returns to a venue where he has recorded three consecutive top-six finishes, including a playoff victory in 2024. Also in action are Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick and Russell Henley, while eight of the world’s top 10 players are set to compete at TPC River Highlands. Defending champion Keegan Bradley returns looking to become the first player since 2002 to successfully defend the Travelers title. Bradley has won the event twice in the last three years, while former champions Harris English, Xander Schauffele and Jordan Spieth are also in the field. Recent form players Sam Burns and J.T. Poston arrive with plenty of confidence after strong performances during the major championship stretch, while Jason Day is expected to tee it up despite withdrawing from the U.S. Open with a back injury. With 700 FedExCup points available and the final Signature Event trophy of the season on the line, the Travelers Championship once again features one of the strongest fields of the year. Played at the fan-favorite TPC River Highlands, one of the shortest courses on the PGA TOUR schedule, the event is set for another exciting week highlighted by elite talent and plenty of summer momentum.
