Owner Kazumi Sato and her mother Yoko run it together. While the tonkatsu menu is naturally popular, the "horse mackerel fry" is especially popular. Kazumi, a fishing enthusiast, fillets and serves horse mackerel he catches himself. In addition to fried horse mackerel, the restaurant also offers sashimi and other appetizers, popular with customers who comment, "Even though we're a tonkatsu restaurant, we can still eat fresh fish." Owner Kazumi says with a smile, "It makes me so happy just to hear customers say 'delicious' and 'fun.' My mother and I will continue this business together." ★European Dining Tanto "Crab Cream Pasta" (Sakai, Osaka) This renowned Italian restaurant in Sakai, Osaka, is run by owners Hirohisa Kanda, his wife Mayumi, and their daughter Nagomi. Owner Hirohisa has extensive experience in Italian and steak restaurants, as well as French cuisine in Kobe. The pasta lunch, which includes appetizers, soup, and bread, is popular, but the crab cream pasta is especially popular. It features a mellow flavor with a hint of fish bouillon. Customers not only enjoy the delicious food, but also the conversation with the couple. Nagomi grew up working at the restaurant, and has been warmly looked after by long-time regulars. "I want to continue working hard as a family, supported by the local community.
