GED Africa's Climate Smart Agriculture Documentary
This short documentary captures the first demonstration plot (demo plot) established in Mwense District, Zambia, as part of GED Africa’s Livelihood Restoration Program (LRP). A demo plot is a hands-on training farm where project-affected people learn sustainable agricultural practices to support long-term food security and income generation. The Mwense demo plot features nitrogen-fixing plants, cassava (including the improved Mweru strain), and nutrient-rich local vegetables like amaranth. These crops were selected to promote resilience, improve soil health, and reflect traditional diets. #GEDAfrica #LRP #LivelihoodRestoration #MwenseZambia
