How A Silver Illaoi Shut Down A Master Yi In Top Lane!

In this Silver-ranked gameplay, I played Illaoi top lane against Master Yi. I wasn’t completely sure how to approach the matchup so I focused on playing safe, avoiding mistakes and slowly building an advantage. Instead of trying to force risky plays, I used better macro decisions and teamfight positioning to become more impactful than the Yi. Our team composition worked extremely well together and once we grouped up, we were able to control objectives and close out the game. This match was a great example of how good decision-making and patience can win games, even in Silver. I’m also starting to feel much more comfortable on Illaoi and this game gave me a lot of confidence in both my laning and macro play.
