Beverly Garland (1926-2008) was an American actress who worked in film and tv for over half a century. In the late fifties, she starred in Decoy, the first tv show about a female police officer. Garland, a smoker IRL at the time (she later quit smoking), played her character as a smoker, so she smoked in 2/3rds of the series episodes. This video features clips from the first 13 episodes.
