When it comes to motor sports of all kinds, whether it's drag racing, auto cross, drifting, or road racing having your vehicles suspension set up and dialed in for your specific application is as important if not MORE important than the amount of raw power you make. After all, what good is 1000 horsepower at the tires if you can't put that power to the pavement through your tires and suspension? Well today, this already nasty and capable Corvette C6 Z06 gets a huge upgrade as we swap in the Ridetech Bushing upgrade! Over the past two years we here at Lucore Automotive have done significant work with the owner of this car to get it dialed in just right for his frequent trips to Mid Ohio Sportscar Course. Built for exactly this type of driving the car and owner/driver have been getting faster and faster reaching the edge of the "stock" capabilities. As he prepped for yet another track day worn bushings became a concern, and as any gearhead will admit to thinking... Why replace with stock when we can upgrade for just a LITTLE BIT more? In steps this kit from Ridetech, specifically part number 11519501 which is designed for the 2006 - 2013 Z06 models. As no strangers to the quality of Ridetech products we happily took on the job to get this monster ready ahead of the track day. Following the upgrade it was off to the track to try crack his personal best times and the driver and car to all new levels. Are we happy with the product? Absolutely!
