Author of the book "A Lover's Discourse: Fragments," published in 1977, the French essayist and philosopher Roland Barthes explains his study of passionate love, a theme he says was neglected at the time in favor of political or sociological topics. He explains some elements of the alphabet of feelings that unfolds in his book. He states that his exploration is addressed to both women and men, heterosexual or homosexual.
