PALINGGIH PANGLURAH: Siapa Yang Berstana Disana

   • PALINGGIH PANGLURAH: Siapa Yang Berstana D...   PALINGGIH PANGELURAH OR SEDAHAN NGURAH AGUNG #PalinggihPanglurah #SedahanNgurahAgung #DewaAgungNgurah PALINGGIH PANGELURAH OR SEDAHAN NGURAH AGUNG is a term used to describe one of the buildings built by our ancestors in the merajan area. One such building is the Pelinggih Panglurah, also known as the pelinggih Dewa Agung Ngurah, and often referred to as Sedahan Ngurah Agung. This building is usually erected in the merajan area as an important building. The palinggih panglurah is usually built to the left of the rong tiga building (illustration: if the rong tiga is positioned east facing west, then the pelinggih panglurah is built to the south of the palinggih Rong Tiga, also facing west). The roofed structure of the Panglurah shrine is similar to the gegedongan-shaped shrine of Penunggun Karang. In the Sarining Kanda Empat palm leaf text, it is explained that since the baby is in the womb, the Catur Sanak carefully guard the baby's embryo to ensure its proper growth. When guarding the baby's Sang Cabang, the Catur Sanak is positioned at the navel. Furthermore, when the baby is born, the Catur Sanak continues to guard it through a ceremony of planting the placenta in front of the house, on the right side for a baby boy and on the left for a baby girl. This process proves that the Catur Sanak cannot be far from the child who has been born. In short, it is stated in the palm leaf, when the child is in the womb, living, moving, active, and even when dead, the Catur Sanak continues to accompany its sibling. When the child dies, is buried and has not yet been cremated, the Catur Sanak will accompany it at Sedahan Atma, in the Setra area. When the cremation has been carried out, the Catur Sanak also guards and meditates in the Dalem building at the Panglurah shrine. Furthermore, after the Spirit has been ceremonially performed through the mamukur ceremony, followed by the ceremony of ngeligihang Dewa Hyang at the Rong Tiga shrine, then the Catur Sanak will continue to accompany and will be enshrined at the Panglurah shrine or at the Sedahan Ngurah Agung shrine. The description above is intended to show that the Catur Sanak is the most loyal sibling, who will accompany humans from the womb until death and enshrined at Rong Tiga as Dewa Hyang. The Panglurah shrine or Anglurah shrine or the Sedahan Dewa Agung shrine serves to guard the spirits of our ancestors who are in the Pitara realm. Because its position functions to guard, the Panglurah shrine building remains on the left side of Rong Tiga. Meanwhile, another source, namely Indik Berata (about self-control), states that: Sedahan Anglurah or Sedahan Ngurah Agung is also called Sedahan Berata and further explained, that when someone wants to do berata, tapa, and yoga for a certain purpose, the position of this sedahan berata shrine is very important. For example: when someone wants to perform a berata to ask for health, before performing the berata, they should arrange kepel rice lined with base leaves and offer it at the Panglurah shrine or Sedahan Ngurah Agung because he also holds the title of Sedahan Berata, whose duty is to ensure that a person's berata is siddhi. This is where Sedahan Ngurah Agung's position and function as Sedahan Berata are located. Everything that is arranged at the Sedahan Ngurah Agung shrine, also called the Sedahan Berata shrine, can be enjoyed (eaten) by those who offer it because the Catur Sanak who have been purified are placed there. On the other hand, people who have become mewinten (ekajati) and become Pemangku should not eat the surudan offered at the Panglurah shrine. The Sedahan Ngurah Agung shrine is also called the Butha Raja shrine (king of strengthening great power), to ensure that the power of butha bucari and rerencang does not disturb the residents of the house. The difference between the Penunggun Karang shrine and the previously discussed shrine is that the Penunggun Karang shrine maintains the tranquility of the yard as Kala Bucari, while the Panglurah shrine serves as a Butha Bucari shrine. The Panglurah shrine is the sanctified shrine of humanity's true friend, the Four Noble Ones. This shrine is also called Sedahan Berata, a place to seek strength during certain rituals.
