In this video I will be talking about my story growing up with a birthmark on my face. The birthmark that I have is called Nevus of Ota, it’s very rare and I have only seen one person with this condition in my life. I had mine removed (lightened) by laser 4 years ago. I want to share this experience because when I was trying to find information on this a few years ago, there were no real people that I could look at. I am in no way saying that anyone should feel like they need to remove theirs or cover it up. I really admire people who love and accept themselves fully and I look up to them for that.
