Flight services begin at new Tuticorin Airport terminal in Tamil Nadu with cultural flair

Flight operations have officially started at the newly upgraded terminal of Tamil Nadu’s Tuticorin Airport, just a week after its inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Built at a cost of ₹452 crore, the 17,000 sq. metre terminal features world-class infrastructure, modern amenities, and stunning displays of Tamil Nadu’s rich cultural heritage. Passengers were welcomed with roses, sweets, and even a cake-cutting ceremony as they explored the spacious interiors and enhanced facilities. Many expressed hopes for international flight services soon, noting the terminal’s capacity and convenience.
