Cross Slot Seed Drill Fitted with FieldMate Electric Drive in New Zealand

Cross Slot drill fitted with a FieldMate Electric Drive. This electric Drive conversion was fitted to the drill and allows the drill to be electrical driven instead of the ground wheel drive. This conversion was done on farm, using the FieldMate to accord metering unit adapter plates. Seed pipe priming and calibration is discussed, also instant seeding rate reduction. The video shows that after the calibration weight is obtained at the drill, the monitor when instructed will jump directly to the enter weight screen for the bin being calibrated - this is the fast calibrate option feature of FieldMate software.
