Before my family left America, we were told we would regret it, that we would soon realize the grass is not greener, we would be unsafe (especially our 2 year old), and would not have access to quality medical care. I grew up in the USA and was taught what everyone else was: America is the best and greatest country. Other countries don’t have what we have. And while that may have had some bits of truth at a time, the fact is things are changing. And because Americans aren’t traveled, they don't realize how much things are changing around the world.
