Today, I'm going to talk about my visit to the Tower of Silence in Mumbai, India. Unfortunately, as a non-Parsi, I was not able to enter the sacred site. The Tower of Silence is a unique and mysterious landmark located in the heart of Mumbai and is considered to be one of the most important religious sites for the Parsi community. According to Parsi customs, the bodies of the deceased are laid out on the tower's stone platform to be consumed by vultures, which is believed to be an act of purification.
