One of the most beautiful windsurfing days here in Bavaria ever. Sunny, warm and gusts up to 40 knots! Was testing our new JP Australia high wind slalom prototypes for 2022, using my Neil Pryde EVOXII 5.8. My favorite prototype is insanely good! It goes through the chopp like it was super flat - you can see that in my fastest @500m run stating at 1:21 min. The 500 average on this one was 35kn. Control in those conditions is the key for speed. In flat water, almost everything is fast, not in those conditions. The difference between those 3 boards was huge! I used my NoLofins Model 5 in 32.5cm. Went out 1st with 7.4 and 6.6 but was unsailable, too much wind. Wind was 20-40 kn, quite westerley, it was hard to reach the 40kn barrier as the direction was not good enough. For me, best day ever on a lake!
