From this, Dalü (great pulling) developed in a second step, later spreading in countless variations to almost all styles of Quanfa. Many of these forms have influenced Okinawan Karate and are taught there as Kakie. In the Shotokan Kenpo Karate (SKK) of the BSK, several of these methods have been standardized and are now an integral part of the training. It cultivates awareness, adaptability, empathy, defensive posture, and the routine of close-range fighting.
