The Magnificent Driva // High water and challenging fishing conditions (Eng sub)

This was our last trip to the Driva before a new treatment period was set to begin. In 2017, a barrier was installed in the river to make the upper parts of the river free from Gyrodactylus salaris, as well as hosts. Subsequently, the river area below the barrier is to be treated with chlorine. This trip encountered extremely high levels of meltwater, and fishing conditions were challenging. Nevertheless, there was plenty of conversation, food, and good vibes. Next up: Fusta and Vefsna in June!
