In this video, I embark on a journey to uncover every facet of Koh Samet island. In just one day, I traverse the eastern, southern, western, and northernmost points of the island. Here is also some extra valuable tips that I didn’t include in the video: The island experiences a significant surge in activity on weekends, with Bangkok residents flocking to spend their leisure time here. Conversely, weekdays offer a more serene experience, with uncrowded beaches that truly allow you to savor the paradisiacal surroundings. Measuring a mere 6.8 kilometers, Koh Samet is a small island, and a stay of 2-3 days is personally enough for me. Sai Kaew Beach stands out as the longest and liveliest stretch, perfect for enthusiasts of beach parties, beach restaurants etc. Book your accommodation in or around this area if that’s your scene. Meanwhile, the other beaches exude tranquility, ideal for those seeking a more laid-back atmosphere. One of my preferred dining spots on the island is the food court situated in the main city, right next to the two 7-Elevens. Here, you'll find not only the most affordable options but also the best-tasting local Thai cuisine. It's a departure from the upscale beach clubs, offering an authentic culinary experience crafted by the local community.
