In this video, I show the results of a nuc created using my open brood method. I used my own Krainka-PATKA queen, which fledged without any problems, mated, and began laying very intensely. After just a few weeks, the colony developed splendidly. The queen laid three full frames of brood, and the number of bees increased so much that the nuc began to become too crowded. It was time to move it to a full-size hive, where it can continue to develop as a strong production colony. In the second part of the video, I also show the preparation of new nucs for mating queens. This is the next step in developing the apiary and raising your own queens.
