Hidden Treasure: WWII Vet's Comic Book Stash
95-year-old Robert "Buddy" Boone passed away in 2021. The World War II vet left behind a secret comic collection. His grandson, Jonathan, reveals Buddy's life journey and shows the collection left to his family. Special thanks to Jonathan for providing an amazing interview and for allowing me to share family and comic book pictures. Special thanks to Rick Akers from Heritage Auctions for connecting me with Jonathan. Acknowledgement: Additional pictures of comic books from Heritage Auctions (Action 1, All Star 8, Captain America Comics 1, CGC 5.5).
