Nelliyampathy is a beautiful forest village at Palakkad district, Kerala. There is only one main road access to this forest village that restricted for the day time only. In this family trip to Nelliyampathy, we stayed at a newly opened A frame cottage inside a coffee estate that very close to the forest. It was a wonderful experience. We were very lucky to spot the legendary Chilli komban and got to know his deep connection with the nelliyampathy villagers. We got some excellent frames of Chilli komban. We were also lucky to see the Great Indian Hornbill feeding its chick at the nesting.
