Chasing Lake State's Patriotic Locomotive No. 1776

Lake State Railway is the second-largest Class III Railroad in Michigan (by mileage), operating approximately 375 miles of track. By tonnage, it's probably the largest, with the railroad operating more than 20 daily freights system-wide. In the 2020s, its roster has expanded significantly, thanks to the addition of new EMD six-axle locomotives purchased from Union Pacific and Progress Rail. Locomotive No. 1776, an ex-UP SD70M, was added to the roster in 2023 and was repainted into a patriotic scheme celebrating America's 250th birthday. • Contribute via PayPal: https://www.paypal.me/DelayInBlockMedia • Start investing in railroads and get a free stock: https://Bit.ly/DelayInBlockInvesting • Stream our indie railfan playlist on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0x4...
