The Bentley Continental GT and Flying Spur are truly magnificent cars, and given their remarkably affordable used prices in many cases - highly tempting ones too. But as the saying goes ''There is nothing more expensive than a cheap Bentley.'' With tons of engineering, high specialist labour costs, and frames packed with wiring and technology, they can be a nightmare when they go wrong. But with full time 4WD, 200 mph potential even in their base forms and the best selling W-configuration engine of all time - which itself directly benefitted from the development programme which birthed the Bugatti Veyron, their appeal is undeniable. And many owners absolutely love theirs with minimal issues even over many years.
