2025 Gas Gas MC350 First Ride: 350's Are Still My Favorite 4-stroke!

Quick ride on my buddy Dave's brand new 2025 Gas Gas MC350 at KickIn Roost MX. Kaplan Cycles had one of the first 2025 MC350's in stock and was able to get it to Dave quickly (thanks Ken!). Austrian 350's have long been my favorite combination of Power/Weight/Handling in a 4-stroke dirt bike and this '25 Gas Gas MC350 confirms that choice! Dave installed the map switch along with the Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO) to help dial in the power. He runs the Hard/Dry power map with Throttle Response max (#5) and Engine Braking minimum (#1). Dave also installed a set of Dubya factory wheels with new Dunlop MX34 tires, Husqvarna bend Pro Taper Evo handlebars, soft ODI grips, and factory seat. The suspension is stock. I could feel the slightly softer overall Gas Gas suspension setting. Even with only 2.2 hours on the bike the chassis felt compliant and the suspension was absorbing the small hard pack choppy bumps well. The engine felt very responsive with the map Dave was running in the CUO. Lowering engine braking frees up the chassis on corner entry and lets the bike flow better in the corners. 350's are such a great combination of Power/Weight/Handling! Get on the Gas Gas!
