This is a video that explains how to design metallic threads in solidworks and use the fillet feature to make them easy to 3d print and water tight. 1. Make sure you fillets on your mating parts are the same size 2. Make sure your making parts have a 0.30mm diameter difference to compensate for the 3d printers tolerance.
