A dramatic development has emerged in the Baruipur rape and murder case from West Bengal. Prabhas Mondal, one of the accused arrested in the alleged rape and murder of a 12-year-old girl, died in a police encounter during a crime scene recreation. According to the police, the accused allegedly snatched a police officer's weapon, opened fire, and attempted to escape. Police responded with retaliatory firing, in which he was injured and later declared dead at the hospital. The copyright ownership in the video rests with India Today Group.
