Rally Legend 2022 San Marino - Alberto Battistolli VS Simone Romagna, Lancia Delta Integrale 16V GrA

At the Rally Legend 2022 San Marino, I saw two of my favourite Italian pilots in action, Alberto Battistolli and Simone Romagna, aboard the fantastic 1990 Lancia Delta Integrale 16v Gr.A. The great thing is that they both drive the great "Deltona" splendidly, doing justice and showing once again to enthusiasts how high the potential of the superb Turin rally car remains to this day. While participating in different classes, Battistolli in the "Legend Starts" and Romagna inscribed in the actual competition, I wanted to compare them virtually, even with split-screen mode. Nothing scientific and chronometric but only the pleasure of seeing them "side by side" and observing different trajectories and corner insertions. The principle of these two cars, model 16v, compared to the previous 8v version, have important evolutions. Further distribution of the engine torque (47% at the front and 53% at the rear), enhanced braking system, modified clutch, gearbox and set-up and a new rounded engine hood with air intakes. Enjoy! 😉 Al Rally Legend 2022 San Marino ho avuto il piacere di vedere in azione due dei piloti italiani che preferisco, Alberto Battistolli e Simone Romagna a bordo delle fantastiche Lancia Delta Integrale 16v Gr.A del 1990. La cosa bella è che entrambi guidano il fantastico "Deltone" in modo splendido rendendo giustizia e mostrando ancora una volta agli appassionati quanto, a tutt'oggi, resta alto il potenziale della splendida auto da rally Torinese. Pur partecipando in classi differenti, Battistolli nelle "Legend Starts" e Romagna inscritto alla competizione vera e propria, ho voluto metterli a confronto in modo virtuale anche con modalità split-screen. Niente di scientifico e cronometrico ma solamente il piacere di vederli "fianco a fianco" ed osservare differenti traiettorie ed inserimenti di curva. Il linea di massima queste due vetture, modello 16v, rispetto alla precedente versione 8v hanno importanti evoluzioni. Diversa ripartizione della coppia motrice (47% all'avantreno e 53% al retrotreno), impianto frenante potenziato, frizione, cambio e assetto modificati ed un nuovo cofano motore bombato con prese d'aria.
