LOUGH ESKE CASTLE CO, DONEGAL IRELAND 27TH APRIL 2023 Lough Eske castle is located just outside Donegal town close to the shore of lough eske. It was abandoned for many years having a major fire in 1939 in one half of the castle but continued been lived in until the 1970s when it was finally abandoned to the elements. Today is is restored and serves its function as a hotel, with classic looks and beautiful grounds.
