OMG, What the Heck did I Just Find? | World Record Largest Ammonite Fossil | Destination Adventure

I have to tell myself to stop more often I think. I am in the BEAUTIFUL town of Fernie BC, and I luckily stumbled across some very neat leads here, one of which being this hike to a HUGE Ammonite fossil. Finding directions to this location is incredibly difficult, and I was sooooo lucky to meet a wonderfully helpful girl at Starbucks that gave me some very good directions. This Ammonite fossil is millions and millions of years old and it is the largest ever discovered in Canada. The hike was hard and I was a sweaty mess, but it was very worth the effort just to lay my had against the rock of this amazing piece of history.
