In this video we see some of the kelp surfing techniques, this is where you position yourself just above the kelp scanning along in holes and gullys hoping to find a resting fish. This method is harder because you are taking yourself to the fish instead of waiting for them . It uses alot of energy and alerts the fish from your vibrations. It is also harder to get a shot on the fish and you can damage your spear shooting into the reef.
