In this third live stream of our Tunisian Blanket challenge, we're learning square 3 together: the ribbed stitch, a smooth stitch with a soft and elegant texture that looks beautiful in a single color. If you're new to this project, here's a summary of what we've covered so far. PROJECT SUMMARY We've been crocheting a Tunisian blanket together for 10 months. Every last Sunday of the month, we learn a new square live. In total, there are 10 different designs that alternate between plain squares and colorwork, creating a checkerboard effect throughout the blanket. WHAT WE'VE COVERED SO FAR Square 1 — Simple Tunisian Stitch in Color A. The foundation square of the project, where we work on tension and straight edges. Square 2 — Herringbone Stitch Colorwork in Colors B and D. Our first colorwork together, with a color change and working with two yarns. Square 3 — Ribbed Stitch in Color B (this live stream). A plain square with a raised pattern.
