CLIP CLIP CLIPPING - IT's A BIT OF MAGIC (and a bit of a secret)
FOR WHEN A LIMITER JUST WON'T DO Clippers are likely not used as much as limiting and are probably used quite rarely among producer/songwriters in the - except for those in the know... Clipping shaves off the pointy bits of your audio and this can be very handy for producers/songwriters when it comes to adding processors such as compressors and for the mastering stage because you won't need to drive the limiter so hard.
