BECMI Dungeons and Dragons: The Immortals Box
Tonight we delve into the boxed set I never quite used growing up - the Immortals rules. After your character has adventured for 30 levels or so, you may be able to ascend to immortality yourself. For the first time since I was a kid, I take a look at these books and try (sometimes successfully) to wrap my head around the explanation of the BECMI cosmology. How the multiverse works. The differences between a plane and a dimension. And it all bakes my already addled brain. Warning: I ramble a bit on this one, and say "so" a lot. My wife had knee surgery recently and I've been caring for her while she recovers, so I'm a bit low on energy. But the show must go on, eh?
