Handmade Copper Ring from Copper Wire

In this video, I demonstrate how to create a beautiful Handmade Copper Ring using a 60cm length of 2mm copper wire. The wire is first folded in half and one end is secured to a nail while the other end is twisted clockwise using pliers until the strands are tightly wrapped together. The twisted wire is then heated (annealed) to soften the metal. Next, the wire is folded again to create a balanced double-twist design. One end is secured and the wire is twisted counterclockwise, resulting in a unique three-ridge pattern. After annealing again, the ring blank is cleaned in a sulfuric acid solution to remove oxidation and impurities. The three-ridge wire is then carefully shaped using an anvil, hammer, and half-round forming die until the desired profile is achieved.
