The special story behind Namugongo shrines
Every 3rd of June, pilgrims from all over the world come to Uganda, by all means, to visit Namugongo, as celebrations for Uganda Martyrs get underway to celebrate the lives of several youths who were martyred for Christianity. The young men were burnt to ashes at the command of Kabaka Muwanga in Namugongo on 3rd June 1886. The place that was used as an execution site for those who disobeyed the Kabaka of Buganda has now turned into a place of worship for all nations. #NTVNews Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter / ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
