For Keanu Reeves, it's exactly the opposite. The internet is full of videos of Keanu taking the subway instead of a limousine, chatting with homeless people, stopping to talk to fans without doing anything to alienate them. His normal demeanor, his lack of flaunting his wealth, and his commitment to charity have earned him the nickname of the kindest man in Hollywood. It's amazing when you think about it how Keanu Reeves, a celebrity who performs kind and charitable acts, almost makes more headlines than the controversies and scandals like other actors. It's also a little sad to think that we can be so surprised when a celebrity behaves like a good human being. We're used to seeing celebrities almost as if they were justified in behaving selfishly and narcissistically, partly because the Hollywood system has inevitably sold them as superior and pushes us to idolize them, and partly because, as often happens in this industry, we try to justify them by introducing them to a ruthless system to which you unknowingly sell your soul. Keanu Reeves, no, didn't fall into this mold. Perhaps it's because he's a truly humble person, or perhaps it was the pain of his life that humbled him. We don't know, but the fact is that he's truly a good person.
