repenting (sort of) (hopefully) in ofmd s2 || s2 e5 out of context

it is 2am. i have had to listen to this video with my volume at max to hear those fucking bell tingles for two hours. i have gone insane. there is definitely some kind of mistake in here i really do love this episode because the A plot of the coat?? SO fucking funny. my original cut of this was 9 minutes long, i had to scrap so many clips cause it was basically just the episode :'] ed i wanna STRANGLE AND THROW AROUND BRO.... i don't feel like he cares much for you the crew (if at all). a lot of this is giving me "doing this for my (not)boyfriend" vibes. of course i think he does care about fang but not as much as we might give him credit for. i really really hope that at some point in the next three episodes ed has a moment where he does start to really care about the crew and see them as more than "just pirates" (thats a season 1 reference). LOVE THAT STEDE AND IZZY ARE BECOMING FRIENDS!!!!!! im not a stizzy/steddyhands shipper i genuinely just want stede, ed and izzy to be friends. don't think ed and izzy will make up anytime soon though (i do not want them to make up anytime soon) did anyone else notice that with izzy's shark story, and the legs dangling off (baiting the shark) thing, and ed has a tattoo of a shark on the arm that he held izzy's mouth closed on?? just me? just me being insane? yeah ED AND STEDE. GOD. with the moon and everything,, the near shot for shot recreation of the scene. BOTH OF THEM HAPPENING IN EPISODE 5 OF THEIR SEASON. GOD. from a writing standpoint i'm not so sure how i feel about them redoing the scene so closely to the original, but as a fan i was SEETHING. FOAMING AT THE MOUTH. screamed at my computer and then apologized to my roommate. the "this old thing?"/"this new thing?". the way they looked at eachother, they both held that memory so closely and so fondly and they both knew what they were doing. ed ringing the bell to show stede he was going in SO HE WOULDNT BE STARTLED. I AM UNWELL. i absolutely love that when stede pushes a bit farther ed stops him and they have that super cute hand-over-hand thing. GODDD. idk if ed was stopping them because he doesn't fully trust stede again, or he really took what stede said about whims to heart and wants to do their relationship right, some kind of mix, something else altogether... but damn stede was IN FOR IT. he had the gay awakening and now YEAARRNNS. anyway. lucius and pete invented love. the show is about them now i've decided. THEY'RE GETTING MARRIED. PETE CARES FOR LUCIUS SO MUCH AND LUCIUS IS TRYING. SO HARD. TO BE HAPPY AGAIN. GOD. MARRIAGE. PIRATE MARRIAGE. GAY PIRATE MARRIAGE!!!!!
