How To Do Harai Goshi || From The Top Grip

Harai Goshi (Sweeping Hip Throw) is one of my favourite throws. When I first started learning how to do Harai Goshi, I found that when I attacked by stepping in towards my opponent, they would get their hip in to block the throw and at best I was getting blocked and at worst countered and thrown. A way I found to help work against this, that worked for me, was to do a step forwards and draw my opponent on to the Harai Goshi, loading up the leg I would be "sweeping" and that way removing my opponents blocking position...now the worst case scenario was usually landing on my face and my throwing success rate went up. In this example, I go through a left versus right stance entry, but I would also do a very similar style of entry for same side gripping.
