Once again, Pennula presents a dream layout in this model railway video, which allows for an enormous amount of driving and railway operation in just 3.6 square meters. Measuring 280 cm long and 130 cm wide, everything that characterizes a perfect model railway layout has been installed. This includes a double-track parade route, a small branch station, numerous bridges, a remote shunting siding, fabulous landscaping, and an absolutely ingenious track layout that, thanks to digital model railway control, enables an infinite variety of train runs in H0 gauge. The secret of this model railway lies, quite literally, hidden in the shadows: the perfectly thought-out track layout with its multi-level substructure, spiral track, and hidden yards. With so much individuality, you'd think this model railway layout was created by an enthusiastic model railway enthusiast over years of hobby work. But in reality, it is a model layout designed and built on behalf of a customer by the model railway workshop "Stellwerk-Ost." Layouts constructed by the model railway workshop "Stellwerk-Ost" are always masterpieces of model engineering, leaving almost nothing to be desired: A perfectly adapted background photo canvas blends harmoniously with the fantastically designed landscape. Houses, buildings, and tracks have been beautifully aged and patinated. Where electric locomotives run, there is also an overhead line, because it is a given that electric locomotives must run with pantographs on the overhead line or contact wire. All of this can be found in the "Oberland" model railway layout, which is geographically located in the Munich Oberland region. The landscape and vegetation are designed in a golden autumn atmosphere. After all, the model railway is set in the third era of the railway, allowing for the operation of all types of traction: steam, diesel, and electric. Actually, one could say that the H0 gauge layout consists of only a two-track main line with a branch line. Actually, the track plan on several levels is quite impressive! A total of 64 meters of track and 27 turnouts were laid. Seven turnouts were equipped with servo drives. The model railway layout features eleven signals, including two hold signals. The choice of digital model railway control system was ultimately dictated by the existing Märklin rolling stock. Therefore, Märklin's "Central Station 3 Plus" is used in conjunction with Motorola function decoders for turnouts and signals, as well as S88 modules for track feedback. The dreamlike landscape in its beautiful autumnal dress is based on a wire mesh covered with two layers of plaster bandages. The final design of the landscape was then completed with a final coat of paint before being covered with grass fibers from Noch and Silhouette. The vegetation was created with trees and bushes from the manufacturer MBR. The "Benediktbeuern" station was made by the manufacturer Vollmer and retained its original quarry stone appearance. The remaining buildings are either laser-cut kits from the manufacturers MBZ and Modell-Scene or resin kits from the manufacturer Müllers Bruchbuden. The color scheme of the buildings was largely modified, particularly through patination with pigment paints. Products from Weinert, Noch, Faller, MBZ, Preiser, Jordan, Wiking, Heki, and Juweela were used for the decoration. The background image is from the manufacturer Jowi.
