Jaco Pastorius Trio - Live in Rezzato March 5th 1986(FULL UNRELEASED CONCERT RECORDING!)

Here's another splendid and RARE live recording from Jaco's successful March/April 1986 European tour with guitar prodigy Bireli Lagrene of the concert they did in Rezzato, Italy on March the 5th. Of this over an hour long recording NOTHING has ever been officially released with the exception of an edited version of Jaco's show closing bass solo which was put out as "Honestly" on the album "Heavy N Jazz" that leaves out 3 minutes of the beginning and about 4 minutes of the end of the solo. In addition to Jaco and Bireli Thomas Böröczs can be heard on drums. The concert is packed with great moments but the highlight in my opinion is Jaco's extended solo on "Satin Doll", also never officially unreleased of course. This top notch concert recording yet again debunks the myth that Jaco had nothing left to say on his instrument by this time in his life. His playing here is as good or better than on any live WR recording I've heard. BTW I got this recording in a trade with Italian bassplayer/facebook friend Alberto Bientinesi, a great musician in his own right. You can check out his music on Spotify.
