Even though they believe that Jesus died for their sin, they think that there is still a certain standard to meet. If that is true, then what is the standard, and how do you know when you have met it? When you understand the Apostle Paul's revelation in the book of Romans about what Jesus did, you will never have to wonder if you're meeting that standard again. It showed us our sins and it gave these sacrifices foreshadowing, picturing the time that Jesus would come and pay for our sins. Jesus was the Lamb of God that took away the sins of the world. 10:36 Your holy living, you doing the right things is profitable unto you if you are putting faith in Jesus and it just keeps you from having Satan have an inroad into your life. But, if you put faith in all of your goodness, then it's actually a detriment to you. 16:01 it's all Jesus or it's all you, but it's not a combination of the two. You've got to put faith in what Jesus has done.
