Arunachal Pradesh With Tangsa & Adi Tribes | Dambuk Orange Festival | Jairampur - Myanmar Border

I was invited here by the Tourism Department of Arunachal Pradesh to explore the new routes and villages they are planning to open for travellers. As I did that, I also got an opportunity to witness the Flag-Off event of the Women Biking Expedition - "ExploreBeyond" organized by the tourism department in Pasighat to spread awareness about Women's Empowerment in the state. A few details about the places I visited during this trip: Pasighat - Pasighat is one of the oldest towns of Arunachal Pradesh. You can watch my dedicated episode on this place here: https://bit.ly/3RrI68I Namsai - Namsai is famous for its huge Golden Pagoda. Watch my vlog on this place here: https://bit.ly/3Yjxif3 Jairampur - It's a town in the Changlang district of Arunachal. The highlight of this place is the Jairampur cemetery - a World War II cemetery in Arunachal Pradesh, India. It is located 7 km from the main town and 25 km from Pangsau Pass, the Indo-Myanmar Border. It was discovered in 1997 and it's currently under renovation. A signboard reads, "These graves bear silent testimony to those soldiers, unlisted workers and labourers who ventured into the virgin jungle and laid down their lives in the line of duty during the second world war. Namdapha National Park - It is also a tiger reserve, located just a few km from the main town, Miao, and very close to the Indo-Myanmar border. It was declared a Tiger Reserve by the Government in 1983. It is the only park in the World to have the four Feline species of big cats including tiger, leopard, snow leopard and clouded leopard. Rima Village - It's a tiny village about 10 km from Jairampur. It has just 25 houses and the population is around 125. Out of 26 main tribes of Arunachal Pradesh, the Tangsa tribe live in this village. I got to spend some time with the villagers and learnt the process of making local drinks (Rice Beer). Dambuk - Dambuk produces the highest amount of oranges in the state and it is also famous in India and Middle-East countries for its juicy oranges. Orange Festival is a festival of adventure and music. I hope you enjoyed watching this vlog from Arunachal as much as you have enjoyed watching my previous two series from this state :) -------------------------- Concept, Shoot & Editing by ME Pasighat & Namsai Drone Shots By 'Yathartha' (Insta handle - yatharth_Sag) --------------------------- Arunachal Pradesh, Season 1: https://bit.ly/3HuvLff Arunachal Pradesh, Season 2: https://bit.ly/3YmOMY5 --------------------------- Business Enquiry: [email protected] Follow me on Instagram: https://bit.ly/31ZtVTc Like my Facebook Page: https://bit.ly/3yHGP48
