Hello! I've assembled another insect collection. I've placed them in a unique wood and glass frame and glued them in place. The depth of the frame allows for a unique appearance for the insects, specifically, spreading their wings, legs, and antennae to create a lifelike appearance. Before framing the insects, I need to collect the required number and store them somewhere so they dry, retain their shape, and avoid dust, pests, and damage during transport. For these purposes, I invented a so-called "save box," which allows insects to be stored for years. It's very convenient and visually appealing. I'll also share in the video the process of storing, framing, shaping, gluing, and cleaning the insects. There are certainly some issues with the collection, "not following the rules of entomology," but the collection was created not for exhibition and evaluation, but for personal use. In the end, everything turned out beautifully, naturally, and looks great on the wall, where it will delight the eye for many years to come.
