A material list and a place to purchase the spring are included to make the build easier. This Kinetic Sculpture is approx. 24'' x 24'' x 6'' deep after you build it. The principal movement is an escapement wheel you build that is having a constant spring force trying to turn it clockwise. When started, the top of the lever pushes a latch up that frees up the escapement wheel to advance forward applying force to the bottom of the lever. This causes the spinning wheel to change direction. Then the latch comes down again and locks the escapement wheel on the next tooth until the lever comes back to lift the latch again and repeat the process.
