Sadık Sadef and İlyas Sadef are two brothers living in Eynelli Village, in the Akdağmadeni district of Yozgat, Turkey. The Sadef brothers make their living as shepherds, working side by side in this demanding profession. After having breakfast early in the morning, they begin preparing for a long journey into the mountains that will last throughout the day. Accompanied by their dogs, donkeys, and hundreds of sheep, the brothers set off toward the highlands, covering long distances to reach the grazing areas. In the fresh mountain air, among colorful flowers and rich vegetation, the sheep graze peacefully under the experienced guidance of the Sadef brothers. As evening falls, the flock returns safely to the village in the same orderly manner. In this documentary, you will witness the determination, hard work, and rural culture of Anatolia through the lives of these two brothers.
